Giorgio Villa is the new President of the Lombard Goldsmith Association (AOL)

Milan, 27 June 2025 - The General Council of theLombard Goldsmith Association (AOL) has unanimously appointed Giorgio Villa as the new President of the Association for the four-year period 2025-2028. The appointment took place during the official meeting on Thursday 26 June.

To support him in the first phase of the mandate will be the new Board composed of:

• Maurizio Piva - Deputy Vice President and Stone Category President

• Daniele Oldani - Vice President, co-opted by the President

• Roberto Reali - Treasurer

• Rossana Ricolfi - Manufacturers Category President

• Andrea Sangalli - Retailer Category President and AOL Past President

• Maurilio Savoldelli - President of the Repair Watches Category

• Antonio Songa - Wholesalers Category President

A leading

figure in the sector, Giorgio Villa is at the helm of 8853 S.p.A. - historical enterprise and leader in the trade and processing of precious metals - reference point for goldsmiths and industrial operators, known for reliability, customer care, attention to the supply chain and the adoption of innovative technologies.

Giorgio Villa has held numerous positions in the associative field over time: at AOL he was Deputy Vice President Co-opted by President Andrea Sangalli and currently holds the position of Vice President Treasurer of the Goldsmiths Club after holding the position of President.
