The Banco Villa metal bank has its own internal analysis laboratory
The purpose with which it was created is not only connected to providing us with information about the composition of the alloys and managing the fineness control of the processing batches within the foundry, but it is also useful to our customers who can ask for information about the percentage of precious metals contained in the goods conferred to us or analysis on their production batches.
Following the analyses, we issue a certificate attesting to the composition of the alloys provided.
Each supply of individual batches of semi-finished products based on precious alloys is accompanied by a relevant certificate of analysis to guarantee the contents and traceability of the raw materials. This aspect is essential as by law it is always necessary to guarantee the fineness relating to the alloy produced and placed on the market.
The analyses performed internally are
- Cupellation
- analysis to determine gold and silver fineness
- XRF fluorescence analysis to determine the actual amount of precious metal contained in the material
